Alappuzha also known as Alleppey, is the administrative headquarters of Alappuzha District of Kerala state of southern India. Alappuzha is the sixth largest city in Kerala with an urban population of 177,029.Alappuzha is considered to be the oldest planned city in this region and the lighthouse built on the coast of the city is the first of its kind along the Laccadive Sea coast (reference encyclopaedia of Kerala in Malayalam language). Alappuzha is situated 62 kilometres (39 mi) to the south of Kochi and 155 kilometres (96 mi) north of Trivandrum.[3] A city with picturesque canals, backwaters, beaches, and lagoons, it was described as the one of the places known as the “Venice of the East” by Lord Curzon. Hence, it is best known as the “Venetian Capital” of Kerala for the Vast backwaters present here. Malayalam is the most spoken language. Hindi, English and Tamil are also widely spoken in the city

Day 1
Drive to Munnar

Pickup from Cochin Airport drive to Munnar.One the way visit Spice Plantations, Cheeyappara Water Falls, Valara Water Falls, Karadippara View Point after that check in at the hotel and overnight stay.

Day 2
Sightseeing travel to Eravikulam

After breakfast, Sightseeing travel to Eravikulam National Park, Rose Garden, Photo point, Honey Tree, Mattupetty Dam and Echo point. Evening return back to the hotel and Overnight stay at the hotel.
(Optional-Boating in Munnar Lake, Ayurvedic massage, Elephant ride & Kathakali & Kalaripayattu show).

Day 3

After breakfast, drive to Kumarakom to visit the Kumarakom bird sanctuary which is home to a number of migratory birds like Siberian stork, darter, heron etc. Relax in the lap of nature and enjoy the rest of the day in the beautiful resort

Day 4
Drive to Alleppey

After breakfast, drive to Alleppey. Check in at the houseboat. Cruise through the enchanting backwaters of Alleppey. Experience the life on the banks and the occasional call of migratory birds.Enjoy the Kerala back water cruise, historical church , paddy fields, ,Kuttanadan back water life, toddy shop , back water island etc .. This is the only region cultivate rice below sea level – Overnight stay at Houseboat.

Day 5
Back To Cochin

After B/fast checkout from the hotel and Drive for Cochin Airport/Rwly Station Drop . Back to your hometown with the sweet memories of Kerala trip with Gods Own Kerala Holidays
